Santa Fe Fair Ready to Welcome Visitors

The forty-second Agricultural, Tourism, Crafts, Cultural, Environmental and Folklore Fair of Santa Fe is ready to open its doors and receive hundreds of visitors from different regions of the country. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a natural, fresh and cozy atmosphere, characteristic of Santa Fe, with the known bajareque. The presence of foreign families who have begun to visit Santa Fe and purchase agricultural products has already been registered, with the Santa Fe coffee standing out, recognized throughout the country for its high purity and quality, and considered one of the best in the country. Agustín Valdez, treasurer of the Santa Fe fair, said that not only agricultural activity is highlighted, but also the tourist potential of the area. The organizers of the event reiterated the invitation to the Panamanian population and tourists to participate in this fair, which promotes local economic development, sustainable tourism and the preservation of cultural traditions, in a safe and suitable environment for the enjoyment of the whole family. For Luis Agrazal, president of the forty-second Santa Fe Fair, this traditional event has been consolidated as one of the most important in the region. Visitors will be able to take tours of natural trails, where it is possible to observe exotic species and some in danger of extinction, abundant in this mountainous area of the country. It offers attendees the opportunity to purchase healthy and fresh food products directly from local producers. To this are added horseback riding, craft exhibitions, cultural expressions and folk presentations that enrich the family experience. The event will take place from January 28 to February 2, in this picturesque district of the province of Veraguas.
